Installing it

  1. Open the downloaded disk image. A window opens with Trip Underway in it.
  2. Drag Trip Underway onto the Applications folder beside it.
  3. Open it from Applications. Because the app is notarized by Apple, it launches straight away.
  4. Eject the disk image; you can delete the download afterwards.

Dragging out of the disk image is what clears the download quarantine, so automatic updates work from the first launch.

Updates arrive by themselves from then on: Trip Underway checks quietly, and you can also ask any time from Trip Underway › Check for Updates.
