How Trip Underway's text-message program works, and how you opt in.
Opt in from your account
- Open Settings → Phone in the Trip Underway app and enter your mobile number.
- We text you a 6-digit code; enter it to verify the number is yours.
- Check the box below to opt in, then turn on “SMS trip alerts” for transactional trip notifications.

This box is empty by default. You actively check it to opt in. We never pre-select it for you.
What you can expect
- Sign-in codes when you request them at login (one message per request).
- Trip alerts only when something about your trip changes: gate changes, delays, leave-by reminders. Event-driven, low volume.
- We never share or sell your number. Stop anytime by replying
STOP.
