Who we are

Trip Underway is operated by Epiphani Studios LLC, a Georgia limited liability company, 433 Central Ave, Suite 400, St. Petersburg, FL 33701 ("we", "us"). These terms are an agreement between you and Epiphani Studios LLC. By creating an account or using Trip Underway on the web, iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple Watch, you agree to them. Your account

You need to be 18 or older to create an account. A parent or guardian may add a younger traveler to their own trips. Keep your sign-in and your private forwarding address to yourself: anything sent to that address is filed into your account. You are responsible for activity on your account, and you can delete it at any time by writing to us.

Your trips and the information in them

Your itineraries, forwarded emails, documents, notes and photos stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and display them to run Trip Underway for you, including through the service providers named in our privacy policy (for example the AI models that read a confirmation email and turn it into a trip). When you add other travelers or forward a booking that names them, you confirm you are allowed to share their details with us for that trip.

Connected accounts

You can connect Gmail (read-only, limited to travel messages), Google Calendar, TripIt and AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT. Each connection is your choice, uses only the access you approve on that service's own screen, and can be disconnected at any time from Settings or from the other service. Your use of those services stays governed by their own terms.

Sharing

A share link shows the trip or plan you chose to anyone who has the link. You can stop sharing at any time, and the link then shows that the trip is no longer available.

Travel information

Trip Underway organizes your plans and brings in flight status, weather, maps and other details from outside sources. Those sources can be late or wrong, and airlines, hotels and other providers change plans. Always confirm times, gates and requirements with the provider before you travel. Trip Underway is an organizer, not a travel agent: your bookings are contracts between you and the provider. When you book through a partner link in the app, the partner may pay us a commission, and the booking is governed by that partner's terms.

AI features

Some features use AI to read emails, answer questions and suggest plans. AI can make mistakes, so review what it files or suggests before you rely on it.

Texts and notifications

If you add and verify a mobile number, we text you sign-in codes and, when you turn on text alerts, trip messages such as flight changes and travel-day reminders. Message frequency depends on your trips. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts and HELP for help, or change alerts in Settings. Full program details: tripunderway.com/sms. Plans and billing

Trip Underway has a Free plan and paid plans: Traveler ($79 a year), Family & Team ($149 a year for up to six people, plus $29 a year for each added person) and Trip Pass ($29 once, for a single trip). Prices shown at checkout are the prices you pay, plus any tax. Payments are processed by Stripe. Yearly plans renew automatically at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings. Your plan stays active through the end of the period you paid for. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price change takes effect on your renewal. If you are charged and change your mind, write to us and we refund the unused time.

Using Trip Underway fairly

Use Trip Underway for your own and your group's travel. Do not use it to break the law, send spam, upload malware, probe or overload our systems, scrape the service, resell it, or access another person's account or trips without permission. We may limit or suspend an account that does these things.

Our part

Trip Underway's software, design, name and logo belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the apps and the website while these terms apply. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

Apple apps

If you use Trip Underway on an Apple device, these terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no responsibility for the apps, their support or any claim about them. Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.

Ending these terms

You can stop using Trip Underway and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We will tell you why unless the law or a security reason prevents it.

Warranties and liability

Trip Underway is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for missed flights, connections, reservations or travel costs. Our total liability for any claim about Trip Underway is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law permits.

Disputes

If a dispute comes up, write to us first at hello@tripunderway.com and we will try to resolve it within 60 days. If we cannot, you and we agree to resolve it by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court. Claims may be brought only individually, not as a class or representative action. You can opt out of arbitration within 30 days of creating your account by emailing us. These terms are governed by Florida law.

Changes

We may update these terms. For a material change we will email you or show a notice in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Trip Underway after that means you accept the update.
